If a filter is working normally in the client, but the proper data is not being returned in the browser Scheduler when the report is instantly run, there are a few common resolutions:

--Ensure that "zero balances" is checked in the Scheduler report results screen.
It is checked by default in the client, but not in the Scheduler.

--Ensure that your filter names do not contain reserved characters. Using punctuation in report or filter titles in the Scheduler can cause reports to run incorrectly, or no data to be returned at all.
Characters that should not be used include periods, commas, dollar signs, percent signs, quotation marks. Users typically do not experience issues with underscores.
Because the Scheduler writes HTML elements to the save path when it runs a report, containing punctuation in a filter title can confuse the format of this HTML and so it cannot locate the proper source of the data,
thus no data is returned.

Example: change filter name "Neverland Honeybee, INC." to "Neverland Honeybee Inc"

--If filters are behaving strangely or users are able to view filters on a report that do not correspond to their filter permissions, it could be due to the report itself not being filterable. For a report to be filterable it must contain an accounting cell with at least one wildcard. The wildcard requirement means that at least one segment of an account mask must be all wildcards.

For example, this account mask is not filterable because wildcards do not make up an entire segment: 1-11-10-3??-4444-2112
This account mask is filterable: 1-11-10-???-4444-2112

Please note that if you do not have filters added in the Synoptix client and they are instead pulled from your production database, you will need to change them within your database.
