This is a Windows security issue, typically caused by anti-virus settings that are blocking the installation process to the point where users cannot install to the default location. As this is an environmental/Windows permission issue, a few recommendations to try are below:

- Make sure the user logged in on the computer you are installing on has full Admin rights

- When doing the initial installation, "Run as administrator"

- Make sure any anti-virus software is disabled

- Make sure they have full control of the Synoptix folder
